BizAcquire
Trust & clarity

What “BizAcquire-reviewed” means

Public results give market coverage. Reviewed listings give a clearer operating picture and a screened introduction path.

Two kinds of opportunities

Understanding the difference helps you know what you are looking at — and what trust you should place in each.

1. Public / attributed source results

  • You open the opportunity at its original source
  • BizAcquire attributes the result; we do not claim we verified the full listing
  • Images on these cards may be representative and do not depict the advertised business
  • Useful for market breadth

2. BizAcquire-reviewed opportunities

  • Presented with a clearer operating picture
  • Seller identity can remain confidential
  • Buyer contact details are shared with a seller only after consent and screening
  • Built for serious enquiry, not open-inbox messaging

What “reviewed” includes

When we call a listing BizAcquire-reviewed, we mean the opportunity is coherent and presentable enough for serious buyers to evaluate fit. That typically covers:

  • Business description is clear and not misleading on its face
  • Key commercial points are stated at an agreed level of detail
  • Seller confidentiality preferences are respected
  • Enquiry and intro rules are set before buyer interest is passed across

What reviewed does not mean

  • Not a guarantee of sale
  • Not a full audit, valuation or legal due diligence
  • Not an endorsement that every figure has been independently verified to investment-bank standard
  • Not a substitute for your own advisors when you proceed
Reviewed = clearer starting point. Diligence still belongs to the parties.

How buyer screening works

  1. Buyer submits an enquiry with context
  2. BizAcquire screens for seriousness and basic fit
  3. Seller consent is obtained before contact details are shared
  4. Seller chooses which approved enquiries to pursue

FAQs

Can a public source result become a reviewed listing?

Sometimes. If a seller chooses to list directly with BizAcquire, we can move that opportunity into the reviewed flow.

Do I need a broker mandate to list as reviewed?

No. Reviewed listings are for owners who want confidential listing and screened intros.

As a buyer, should I only look at reviewed listings?

Look at both. Use public results for coverage; use reviewed listings when you want a clearer operating picture and a structured intro path.

As a seller, must I appear publicly?

No. Confidential listing is designed so your identity is not published as part of marketing the opportunity.
